Job description

Role Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to help build scalable, modern backend systems that power our platform. You will work closely with product, data, and frontend teams to design and implement robust APIs and infrastructure using Node.js (TypeScript preferred) and Python. Your work will directly impact how enterprises and recruiters engage with talent in a completely new way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, test, and scale backend services using Node.js (TypeScript preferred) and Python (FastAPI / Django / Flask)
  • Design modular, reusable services aligned with microservices architecture best practices
  • Develop secure, well-documented RESTful APIs and background jobs
  • Optimize complex data models and queries across PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra
  • Integrate services within a cloud-native architecture (AWS / GCP)
  • Manage deployments and release pipelines using CI / CD tools and DevOps workflows
  • Implement observability, logging, monitoring, and alerting for backend systems
  • Collaborate with agile cross-functional teams including Product, QA, DevOps, and Frontend

    • Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of backend development experience in Node.js and Python
  • Strong grasp of asynchronous programming, API design patterns, and web system architecture
  • Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases in production environments
  • Hands-on experience deploying and scaling applications in cloud-native setups (AWS / GCP)
  • Solid understanding of DevOps workflows and containerized deployments
  • Experience working in agile SaaS product teams
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code with unit / integration coverage

    • Nice to Have

  • Exposure to Generative AI tools and frameworks (Langchain, Llamaindex, CrewAI, LangGraph)
  • Familiarity with LLMs (OpenAI, Meta, Mistral, Claude) and vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate)
  • Experience with prompt engineering and multi-agent architectures
  • Integration experience with third-party HR / ATS systems or job boards
  • Understanding of access control, multi-tenancy, and session management in B2B SaaS platforms
