SAP Functional Expert in Supply Chain Optimization

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned SAP WM-LE functional consultant to support end-to-end process improvements across procurement, inventory, quality, and logistics operations.

Job Description :

This critical role involves leveraging strong functional expertise in Supply Chain, Materials Management MM, Quality Management QM, and Warehouse Management Systems WMS / WM / LE to drive process enhancements and optimize business outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP WM and LE, as well as a proven track record of successful implementations and rollouts.

A key focus area for this role will be configuring warehouse structures, storage types, put-away and removal strategies, and managing transfer orders, picking, and put-away issues.

The selected professional will also need to demonstrate expertise in STO processes, including logistics execution for shipments, route determination, shipping points, and shipping conditions.

Required Skills & Experience :

• 7+ years of hands-on SAP functional experience in SAP WM and Logistics Execution LE and broader Supply Chain areas with MM
• Strong experience in end-to-end implementations / rollouts in SAP WM and LE
• Expertise in SAP WM and LE
• Configured warehouse structure / storage types / put-away / removal strategies
• Experience in WM Transfer Order / picking / put-away issues handling
• Hands-on experience on STO processes including logistic execution part for shipments
• Good understanding on Route Determination / Shipping points / Shipping conditions functions
• 3PL exposure highly preferred
• Hands-on experience on Batch Management / Batch determination
• Proven ability to manage / support full lifecycle SAP implementations / significant upgrades
• Strong understanding of SAP integration between logistics modules MM-QM-WM-SD-PP
• Excellent communication / stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience in regulated industries e.g. pharmaceuticals / medical devices an added advantage
