Description :
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, configuring, and supporting Proofpoint Email Security solutions, handling escalations, and ensuring the integrity of enterprise email communications.
Key Responsibilities :
- Configure and manage Proofpoint modules including Email Protection, Threat Response, and Targeted Attack Protection (TAP).
- Configure and optimize security policies to defend against malware, phishing, and social engineering.
- Analyze and resolve issues related to email delivery, spam, phishing, and malware.
- End-to-end management of emails and alerts generated by the Proofpoint Email Monitoring System.
- Conduct threat analysis, enforce DLP policies, and fine-tune the POD console.
- Define and maintain policies for inbound / outbound filtering, spam protection.
- Hands-on experience with email MTAs, spam filters, and rule configurations.
- Provide production support & troubleshooting for email security platforms.
- Manage Proofpoint services, including Secure Email Relay (SER) and Secure Email Gateway.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for platform enhancements and issue resolution.
- Develop and maintain advanced email firewall rules, TLS configurations, and DKIM / SPF / DMARC policies.
- Evaluate and adopt new email and cloud security technologies.
- Assist with implementing countermeasures or mitigating controls for email security issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
59 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT infrastructure roles.Hands-on experience with Proofpoint solutions - Policy management, threat analysis, DLPStrong understanding of SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and email routing.Familiarity with Exchange Online and enterprise-scale mail infrastructures.Knowledge of cloud & SaaS email security (O35,AWS,Azure)(ref : hirist.tech)
