Medical Coder (Dental Coding UAE)

Job Description :

• A dental specialist specialty (handling 2021 guidelines)
• Certification is mandatory
• Good knowledge of medical coding systems, medical terminologies, regulatory requirements, auditing concepts and principles
• Assign appropriate codes to each procedure using Current Dental Terminology (CDT), CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II
• Document treatments and ensure codes meet federal regulations and insurance standards
• Submit relevant information to the patient or insurer for payment
• Follow up on unpaid dental claims to ensure the practice receives the correct reimbursement
• Respond to dental records requests and invoice the requestor
• Work as part of a team and support billers and AR analysts
