Lead QA Engineer

We are seeking a Lead QA Engineer with 8–10 years of experience in software testing, defect tracking, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and a strong team player with a keen analytical mindset. This role requires hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing, with the ability to lead QA activities for projects and releases alongside the team. The candidate should be comfortable collaborating with the automation team and contributing to automation efforts as and when required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual test cases to validate software functionality.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using test management tools.
• Lead QA efforts across the project lifecycle, including planning, test execution, and release sign-offs.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members for comprehensive testing coverage.
• Perform regression, functional, API, and exploratory testing.
• Participate in test automation by identifying automatable scenarios and contributing to the automation framework when required.
• Ensure on-time, high-quality releases by managing test scope, timelines, and coordination.
• Contribute to and foster a positive and respectful team culture.

Qualification Education : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science, IT, or related field). Experience : Minimum 2+ years of experience in leading a team
