About the Role :
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Compensation & Benefits (C&B) Specialist to join our Human Resources Shared Services team. This role will play a pivotal part in driving strategic compensation practices, ensuring statutory compliance, and implementing effective reward strategies to attract, retain, and motivate talent.
The position reports directly to the Head / Lead - Human Resources Shared Services.
Key Responsibilities :
Payroll Management :
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly payroll processing by collaborating with HR Operations and Finance teams, covering bonuses, incentives, and all statutory deductions (PF, ESI, TDS, etc.).
Salary Structure Design :
Develop competitive and compliant salary structures. Design and monitor performance-linked incentive plans aligned with business goals.Statutory Compliance :
Ensure 100% compliance with Indian labor laws including Minimum Wages Act, Payment of Bonus Act, Gratuity Act, and Provident Fund Act.Salary Benchmarking & Market Analysis :
Conduct compensation benchmarking exercises, analyze industry compensation trends, and recommend adjustments to maintain internal and external equity.Cost Analysis & Budgeting :
Forecast compensation costs and prepare budgets for salary revisions, performance bonuses, and benefit enhancements.HRIS & Data Management :
Maintain updated compensation data in systems like Darwinbox and SAP SuccessFactors. Generate dashboards and analytics for leadership.Job Evaluation & Grading :
Implement and maintain a transparent job evaluation and grading framework ensuring role clarity and internal parity.Audit & Compliance :
Support internal and external audits related to payroll and benefits. Ensure timely documentation and closure of observations.Annual Appraisal Process :
Lead and finalize the compensation revision process post annual performance reviews.Key Qualifications :
MBA / PGDM in Human Resources from a reputed institute8-11 years of experience in Compensation & BenefitsStrong understanding of Indian statutory labor laws and compliance requirementsProficiency in HRIS platforms (Darwinbox, SAP SuccessFactors preferred)Experience in salary benchmarking and job grading methodologiesSkills Required :
