MERN Stack Developer (Full-time at a global IT services MNC)

Mandatory Skills : Key Responsibilities

Architect, design, and develop scalable, reliable, and high-performance web applications using React, Node.js, TypeScript, and supporting technologies.

Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers to understand requirements and deliver robust full-stack solutions.

Take ownership of critical modules and lead end-to-end delivery from development to production.

Drive best practices in code quality, testing, and maintainability.

Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and mentoring junior engineers.

Work in an Agile / Scrum environment, delivering features iteratively.

Continuously explore and implement improvements in system performance and scalability.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have :

Minimum 8 years of overall experience in software development.

7+ years of full-stack development experience.

5+ years of hands-on experience with the MERN stack :

React.js (Hooks, Redux, Context API)

Node.js with Express

TypeScript

MongoDB or equivalent NoSQL DB

Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and web security practices.

Experience with frontend performance optimization and responsive UI design.

Solid grasp of software engineering principles, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.

Good to Have :

Exposure to DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI / CD pipelines).

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Prior experience working in fintech, e-commerce, or consumer-facing product companies.

Experience with unit testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha) and E2E testing tools (Cypress, Playwright).
