Job Summary : Follow :

We are seeking a dynamic and technically adept Business Development professional to drive sales and partnerships in industrial automation, smart manufacturing, and Industry 4.0 implementation . The role involves identifying new business opportunities, engaging with customers on digital transformation initiatives, and collaborating with the engineering team to deliver automation and IoT-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in industrial automation, robotics, and Industry 4.0 domains.
  • Promote solutions involving PLC, SCADA, HMI, robotics, sensors, IIoT platforms, and MES integration .
  • Understand client processes and pain points to propose automation, digitalization, and optimization solutions .
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, and process industries.
  • Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to prepare technical proposals, cost estimates, and presentations .
  • Lead pre-sales activities , including demonstrations, and solution walkthroughs.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in automation and digital manufacturing.
  • Achieve defined sales targets and contribute to the company’s growth strategy in smart manufacturing solutions .

Qualifications and Skills :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Instrumentation / Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 3–10 years of experience in industrial automation, system integration, or Industry 4.0 solution selling.
  • Strong technical understanding of PLC, SCADA, robotics, sensors, and IIoT ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with digital twin, predictive maintenance, and smart factory systems is a plus.
  • Proven track record in business development, client management, and solution-based selling .
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
