JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for managing the design and construction of pavement works within the airport infrastructure, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality completion. Focus on compliance with statutory requirements and effective coordination with all stakeholders involved.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Accountabilities
- Design Management : Design and develop construction drawings internally for pavement construction works. Coordinate with consultants and clients to obtain necessary design inputs.
- Ensure zero non-compliance with statutory requirements while satisfying all stakeholder expectations.
- Construction Management : Under the guidance of the Project Manager, coordinate and ensure implementation of civil / pavement works in accordance with the agreed construction schedule to ensure works are completed within time and cost, while meeting quality standards.

- Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Compliance : Implement HSE measures as per standard operating procedures and ensure adherence during all phases of construction.
- Adherence to HSE Standard Operating Procedures.
- Bill Certification and Progress Monitoring : Certify contractor's monthly RA bills based on work executed. Review daily / weekly progress reports and coordinate with the contractor's engineering team to develop action plans to resolve delays.

- Team Development : Drive team development by training and guiding junior executives, focusing on resource optimization, value engineering, and promoting knowledge sharing.

- Support for New Projects : Assist the bidding team in new project proposals by quantifying work, preparing working drawings, and supporting the bidding process to increase the likelihood of qualifying and winning projects.

Interact with external consultants, vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth execution of projects.Liaise with external stakeholders to understand and meet their requirements for ongoing projects.INTERNAL INTERACTIONS
Coordinate with the reporting manager, team members, and other MEP teams.Collaborate with technical services and ARFF (Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting) teams.Work closely with GHIAL Security & Control teams, Airside Operations, and internal clients (GHIAL & GHASL).FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS
Minimum project value experience : 200 Cr in infrastructure project management / execution (Public utility buildings, institutional buildings, or similar).OTHER DIMENSIONS
Manage a team of 5+ members.Handle small projects simultaneously while leading larger initiatives.Exposure to airport construction is preferred.Sound leadership skills with an emphasis on team building and strong communication abilities.EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Engineering (Civil).RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
9+ years of experience, with at least 6 years of experience in leading pavement construction works at airports.COMPETENCIES
