Job description

Job Title : Plant Accountant / Site Accountant

Department : Finance & Accounts

Location : Chandrapur

Reporting To : Head – Finance / Plant Head

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end accounting operations (AP, AR, GL, Inventory, Payroll interface).
  • Maintain site accounts and invoices.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure statutory compliance (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, etc.).
  • Monitor cost accounting, production variances, and inventory valuation.
  • Coordinate monthly and year-end closing, reconciliations, and audit schedules.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for plant operations.
  • Liaise with statutory and internal auditors, and government authorities.
  • Partner with plant management to improve working capital and cost efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Qualification : B.COM - Commerce / MBA (Finance) .
  • 7 years of experience in plant / manufacturing accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory compliances and ERP systems (SAP / Oracle preferred).
  • Hands-on experience in cost accounting and inventory management .
  • Good analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
