We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Pre-Owned Sales Manager to lead our Approved Pre-Owned Sales operation. This is a pivotal role where you’ll manage the team, stock, and processes to deliver exceptional customer experiences in line with the Company Purchase Experience Framework and Customer First Principles. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the Pre-Owned Sales team to deliver sales volumes, profitability, and outstanding customer satisfaction.
- Monitor team performance against KPIs, ensuring compliance with Company Approved Standards and Retailer policies.
- Manage the sourcing, pricing, preparation, and disposal of Approved vehicles to optimise return on investment.
- Oversee appraisals, valuations, and reconditioning processes to maintain premium standards for every vehicle.
- Drive prospecting and lead management activity to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Collaborate with the Head of Business on short- and medium-term business plans, aligning with Company initiatives.
- Maintain competitive market insight on pre-owned operations within the premium automotive sector.
- Ensure vehicle presentation, advertising, and content on the Company Approved Vehicle Locator meet brand standards. What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in Used / Pre-Owned Car Sales Management, ideally within a premium or luxury automotive brand.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
- Solid commercial acumen with expertise in stock management, valuations, and ROI optimisation.
- Knowledge of Company standards, compliance processes, and customer experience principles (preferred).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer-handling skills.
