Job description

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Functional Consultant to join our SAP team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, ensuring alignment between business requirements and SAP system functionality. Need candidates with experience in RISE with SAP in Implementation and support projects.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document financial and controlling requirements.
  • Design, configure, and test SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO-PA, CO-PC, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, etc.).
  • Perform end-to-end implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP FICO solutions.
  • Integrate FICO with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, HR) to ensure smooth cross-functional processes.
  • Develop functional specifications for custom developments and coordinate with ABAP developers.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
  • Provide user training, system documentation, and post-go-live support.
  • Participate in system upgrades, rollouts, and migration projects (e.g., ECC to S / 4HANA).
  • Work closely with the technical team to resolve system issues and optimize performance.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies and internal controls.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Functional Consultant.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, AA, Banking) and CO (CCA, PCA, Internal Orders, CO-PA, Product Costing).
  • Proven experience in SAP implementation and support projects.
  • Understanding of integration points between FICO and other SAP modules.
  • Good understanding of business processes in accounting, finance, and controlling.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with SAP S / 4HANA Finance.
  • Exposure to Fiori apps, Central Finance, or Treasury modules.
  • SAP certification in FICO (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Experience in global rollout projects and working with multi-country environments.
