Principal Data Architect

SCOPE OF WORK : Own the end-to-end analytics stack on Azure—ingest and model data (ADF / Synapse / Databricks), build governed semantic models, and deliver high-impact Power BI dashboards with rock-solid performance and standardized KPIs.

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO :

Data Engineering (Azure)

• Design, develop, and maintain ELT / ETL pipelines in Azure Data Factory (parameterized pipelines, datasets, dataflows).
• Perform advanced extraction and transformation from structured & unstructured sources (SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB / NoSQL, files / APIs).
• Write and optimize T-SQL (queries, UDFs, views, indexes, CTEs, procs, triggers).
• Build and maintain dimensional models (star / snowflake) and data-warehouse layers;

apply proper partitioning and indexing.

Power BI (Semantic Layer & Dashboards)

apply UI / UX best practices and data storytelling.

proactively improve existing reporting solutions.

create Paginated Reports using Power BI Report Builder where needed.

Governance, Security & Operations

drive consistent metricdefinitions across teams.
