Junior Interior Designer

Job descriptionCollaborate with senior designers to develop design concepts, mood boards, and preliminary sketches. Assist in space planning and layout design, ensuring optimal functionality and aesthetics. Select and source materials, furnishings, fixtures, and finishes in line with the project's design concept and budget. Create detailed drawings, renderings, and specifications using design software and tools. Assist in the preparation of design presentations for clients, including 2D and 3D visualizations. Stay updated on the latest design trends, materials, and products. Research and recommend suitable materials and furnishings for projects. Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the timely execution of design plans. Assist in site visits and assessments as needed to monitor progress and quality of work. Participate in client meetings and discussions to gather requirements, present design concepts, and address client feedback. Assist in managing project budgets by tracking expenses and ensuring design choices align with financial constraints. Maintain accurate project files, records, and documentation for reference and future projects. Creative and innovative mindset. Strong organizational skills. Time management and multitasking abilities. Enthusiasm for design and a passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces. Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field (or in the process of obtaining the degree). Strong understanding of interior design principles, concepts, and practices. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape Sound knowledge of technical drawings & 3D software Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics Willingness to learn and adapt to new design trends and technologies Entry-level to 2 years of experience in interior design is a plus
