Key Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document finance and accounting requirements.
  • Conduct requirement workshops and fit-gap analysis sessions to align Oracle best practices with customer processes.
  • Lead and facilitate CRP (Conference Room Pilot) sessions, demonstrating solution capabilities to business users.
  • Provide expertise across Finance modules : GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, and Subledger Accounting; exposure to P2P and O2C cycles preferred.
  • Support end-to-end solution design, configuration, and testing activities in Oracle Fusion and / or Oracle EBS.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design reports, integrations, and extensions based on business needs.
  • Prepare BRD (Business Requirement Documents), Functional Design Documents (FDDs), and RTMs (Requirement Traceability Matrices).
  • Provide functional support during UAT, SIT, and Go-Live phases.
  • Advise clients on best practices, financial process improvements, and Oracle Cloud roadmap adoption.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8–10 years of Oracle Finance functional consulting experience in EBS (R12) and Fusion Cloud Finance.
  • Strong functional knowledge in Core Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM) with hands-on experience.
  • Experience in leading requirement gathering workshops, fit-gap analysis, and CRP sessions with business stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in preparing and validating BRDs, FDDs, and RTMs.
  • End-to-end implementation experience in at least 2–3 full cycle projects (including EBS to Fusion Cloud migration preferred).
  • Ability to work closely with clients, explain Oracle best practices, and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
  • Experience in India Localization (GST, TDS) and global finance setups is an added advantage.
  • Good to Have

  • Exposure to Oracle Cloud Tools : OTBI, BIP Reports, Smart View, and FBDI / HDL templates.
  • Knowledge of finance integration touchpoints with SCM, Projects, and Payroll.
  • Experience in Agile / Waterfall implementation methodologies.
  • Oracle Fusion Cloud Certification in Financials.
  • Skills Required
