Job description

MEP Project Lead

An experienced MEP Project Lead is required to oversee the successful execution of MEP projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.

  • Manage project trackers, supervise agencies, and support vendors to ensure approved drawings, BOQ specifications, and schedules are met.
  • Conduct daily supervision and control over workmanship of contractors and agencies connected with MEP & utility works.
  • Inspect inward materials and coordinate with plant teams for on-site feasible technical testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stage 1 review of drawings and BOQs submitted by consultants and ME / Plant teams.
  • Initiate technical recommendations for vendor finalization and arrange kick-off meetings.
  • Execution, monitoring, and handover of HVAC, Utility Piping, FAPA System, STP, ETP, ZLD, and Electrical services works.
  • Billing validation and follow-up with finance teams for payments as per PO terms.

    • Requirements

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in HVAC system design and execution (BE / B. Tech Mechanical).
  • Knowledge of ASHRAE, IS Code, IEC code, NBC, NFPA, Green building codes, CPCB / SPCB, CGWA / SGWA.
  • Proficiency in MS Office package, Auto CAD, SAP, MS Project, and Communication & Inter-Personal Skills.

    • Varroc Standards and Quality Testing Checklist must be adhered to.
