About the role :
Indulge Creamery, a new premium ice cream-led café, is looking for an enthusiastic and quick-learning Commis Chef to join its talented kitchen team. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, all-electric kitchen, perfect for passionate cooks who want to grow their skills in gourmet café food and creative desserts.
Key responsibilities :
- Support daily kitchen operations across prep, cooking, and service
- Prepare and plate menu items to exacting standards (breakfast, bowls, gourmet sandwiches, burgers, desserts)
- Assist in producing ice cream-based desserts and seasonal sundaes
- Handle mise en place, ingredient prep, and maintain clean work stations
- Work with the Head Chef and consulting chefs in recipe trials and food tastings
- Practice strict hygiene and food safety policies
- Receive and organise kitchen stock and materials as guided
- Learn new techniques in European, Mediterranean, and Continental cooking
Requirements :
1-3 years’ experience as a commis / cook / line chef (café, QSR or similar preferred)Desire to learn gourmet sandwiches, burgers, and modern café foodAppetite for fast-paced, “all-electric” kitchen style and live counter serviceGood communication, discipline, and commitment to hygieneMumbai / Bandra-based or ready to relocateBenefits :
