Job descriptionDesign, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript. Perform manual testing of modern web applications (UI, API, and database layers). Conduct API testing (using tools like Postman or automated frameworks) and database validation using SQL queries. Identify, document, and track defects, verify fixes and ensure regression coverage. Contribute to test planning, test case design, and test data creation for both manual and automated testing. Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility testing. Experience with CI / CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.) and version control (Git). Experience in performance or security testing (nice to have). ISTQB certification or equivalent (Preferred).
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance (Manual + Automation).
- 1+ year hands-on experience in Playwright automation, preferably using TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.) from a testing perspective.
- Solid experience in API testing and database validation (SQL or similar).
- Proven ability to design and execute comprehensive test cases, including edge cases and negative scenarios.
