Overview :
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled ServiceNow Developer Technical Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in the ServiceNow platform, with a proven track record of designing, developing, and implementing complex solutions. This role is critical for driving platform maturity, integrating with key third-party systems, and ensuring the platform adheres to industry best practices. This is a remote position requiring immediate availability.
Key Responsibilities Development & Design :
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the ServiceNow platform, providing technical leadership and guidance on architecture, design, and implementation decisions.
- Design and implement robust Workflows and sophisticated routing logic using the ServiceNow Workflow Engine, Flow Designer, and Decision Builder.
- Develop and manage the Service Catalog and Request Fulfillment processes, including designing complex catalog items, record producers, and order guides to enhance the user experience.
- Develop and maintain platform functionality using JavaScript, GlideScript, APIs, HTML, CSS, and other relevant technologies.
Integration and Data Management :
Lead the design and execution of Integration of Rest Services using ServiceNow's IntegrationHub, Scripted REST APIs, and standard web service methods (SOAP / REST).Implement and maintain critical integrations with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, SmartSheet, and collaboration tools like Google Spaces to ensure seamless data flow and process automation across the enterprise.Manage data migration, transformation, and governance activities within the platform.Support & Best Practices :
Manage and prioritize work within request queues, including timely replying to the request in the queue and managing Queue Approvals to maintain high service levels.Actively participate in and follow ServiceNow best practices regarding instance security, performance, upgrade readiness, and configuration management versus customization.Perform advanced troubleshooting and performance tuning for the platform, applications, and integrations to quickly resolve complex technical issues and ensure system stability.Required Technical Qualifications (10+ Years Experience) :
Solid Service Now Understanding : Deep, hands-on expertise across multiple ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITBM, HRSD, CSM) and strong comprehension of the platforms core architecture.Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, Angular / React (for Service Portal), HTML, and CSS within the ServiceNow environment.Extensive experience with REST / SOAP integrations and advanced understanding of data formats like JSON and XML.Proven expertise in Workflow design, development, and optimization.Demonstrated experience with Service Catalog and Request Fulfillment implementation, including variable sets, execution plans, and dynamic user criteria.Direct, demonstrable experience with integrating ServiceNow with key enterprise systems, specifically :
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)SmartSheetGoogle SpacesEducation and Soft Skills : : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Certification : Current Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) and / or Certified Application Developer (CAD) certifications are highly preferred.
Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Autonomy : Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with an ability to anticipate issues and implement proactive solutions.
