System Engineer

Job Summary :

The Level 1 Network Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for network-related issues. This role involves monitoring network performance, resolving connectivity problems, and ensuring that the campus network is stable and well connected to the globe.

Key Responsibilities :

• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Respond to and resolve internet connectivity by logging support tickets within defined SLAs.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose basic LAN / WAN connectivity issues.
• Perform routine network maintenance and assist in implementing network changes.
• Support configuration and installation of routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points under supervision.
• Maintain network documentation including topology diagrams, device inventory, and configuration records.
• Assist in network upgrades activities, patch management, and device replacements.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for network-related issues.
• Provide user support for VPN, Wi-Fi connectivity, and IP configuration.
