JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Role : ServiceNow Developer - SPM

Required Skillset : ServiceNow Developer, SPM Modules, Strategic Portfolio Management, Integrations, ITBM.

Experience Range : 4 - 10 Years

Location : Pan India

Notice Period : 0 - 60 days

Desired Competencies (Technical / Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

Technical Competency

  • Implementation experience in ServiceNow SPM Application Portfolio Management and Project Portfolio Management
  • Experience in ServiceNow scripting JavaScript, Web Services, AJAX, XML and Surveys / Assessments
  • Experience in implementing ServiceNow processes and functions
  • Good Understanding of IT Portfolio , Finance, Project Portfolio Management, SDLC and Application Portfolio Management processes
  • Integration experience with Financial ,Project Accounting systems ,Application portfolio management inventory tools
  • Web Services and JDBC integration experience
  • Ability to create and manage technology scoring criteria / model, documentation and analysis of applications, application disposition plans (enhance, maintain, retire, etc.)
  • Knowledge of IT applications and the technology landscape
  • Conceptual understanding of CMDB ,operating models, business processes and underlying IT that supports it and the organizations’ structure
  • Expert-level knowledge of project and change management and associated methodologies, techniques, processes, and approaches (e.g., Project and Portfolio Management Methodology – Project, Cost, Resource, Timecards
  • Good understanding of SDLC Frameworks and associated methodologies, techniques, processes, and approaches (e.g., Scrum, SAFe)
  • Certified in Systems Administrator and Certified Implementation Specialist in Application Portfolio Management or Project Portfolio Management modules
  • Should possess knowledge in Agile / Scrum methodology
  • Basic knowledge with ITIL / industry standards

Behavioral competency

  • Effective communication skills with both non-technical and technical audiences (verbal and written)
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills to work with the project team members collaboratively
  • Participate and provide feedback during planning meetings (i.e., pre-iteration, and retrospectives)
  • Good-to-Have

  • ITIL V3 / V4 foundation certification
  • MS Project or similar Project planning experience
  • ServiceNow CMDB Micro certified
  • Service Certified Application developer[CAD] certification
  • Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

  • Works with business users to identify and refine ITBM / SPM business requirements ,data collection processes and workflows
  • Facilitates the designing, configuring, and customizing SPM and PPM processes
  • Aids in translating business requirements into technical requirements
  • Understand the given application requirements (or User Stories) to convert into stories
  • Understand and follow the Best Practices and Standards / Guidelines for development
  • Participate in the Daily stand-up meetings and understand the changes proposed on the requirements / user stories
  • Must be self-directed and detail oriented in completing assigned tasks in an effective manner, meeting designated standards and criteria
  • Responsible for the code quality of assigned tasks
  • Perform Unit Testing and do documentation as required
  • Provide support to the users during the User Acceptance Testing
  • Provide any required training to the users on the user stories and processes developed in ITBM modules
  • Develops UI forms, fields, notifications, Scripts ,Assessments ,integrations and and workflows in respective ITBM / SPM modules
  • Builds reports, dashboards, and home pages
