Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive to drive growth by identifying, engaging, and converting manufacturing companies into Zubcon customers. This role is perfect for a results-oriented professional who thrives in a startup environment and is passionate about transforming how manufacturers manage their inventory operations.
Key Responsibilities
i. Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify and research potential manufacturing clients across various industries (automotive, tractors, EV, etc.)
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects through cold outreach, networking, and referrals
- Leverage digital tools and platforms to generate leads and track prospect engagement
ii. Sales & Relationship Management
Conduct product demonstrations showcasing Zubcon's distributed inventory management capabilitiesUnderstand manufacturing pain points related to inventory visibility, production planning, and supply chain managementPresent tailored solutions that address specific client challenges and business objectivesNegotiate contracts and close deals while maintaining healthy profit marginsiii. Market Intelligence & Strategy
Stay updated on manufacturing industry trends, challenges, and competitive landscapeGather market feedback to inform product development and positioning strategiesCollaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and sales materialsiv. Client Success & Expansion
Ensure smooth onboarding and implementation of new clientsIdentify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accountsMaintain long-term relationships to drive customer retention and referralsRequired Qualifications
Experience & Background
2-4 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS, manufacturing, or supply chain technologyProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targetsExperience with complex, consultative sales cycles involving multiple stakeholdersSkills & Competencies
Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Tamil / HindiExcellent relationship-building and networking abilitiesProficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and sales analyticsUnderstanding of manufacturing operations, inventory management, or supply chain processes (preferred)Ability to translate technical features into business value propositionsPersonal Attributes
