Job Title : DevOps / DevSecOps Engineer

Location : Remote (India)

Experience : 2–5 years

Employment Type : Full-time

Salary : Up to ₹15 LPA (based on experience & skills)

Job Summary

We are seeking a DevOps / DevSecOps Engineer with hands-on expertise in AWS and Azure cloud platforms . The ideal candidate will focus on building scalable infrastructure, improving security, and automating deployments across multi-cloud environments. You will work on transforming applications into microservices, managing CI / CD pipelines, and ensuring security compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Cloud Management

  • Deploy and manage scalable infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
  • Configure VMs, networks, and gateways in hybrid / multi-cloud setups.
  • Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation / ARM templates.
  • Support disaster recovery strategies to ensure system availability.

DevSecOps & Security

  • Help move applications from monolithic to microservices with containers.
  • Apply Zero Trust security principles and strengthen cloud security.
  • Integrate SSO / identity solutions (e.g., Okta).
  • Ensure compliance with security frameworks and audit requirements.

    • CI / CD & Automation

  • Build and manage CI / CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab, and Azure DevOps.
  • Automate deployments and enable blue-green strategies.
  • Write automation scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to reduce manual work.
  • Work with Kubernetes (EKS / AKS) and Docker for container management.

    • Monitoring & Performance

  • Set up monitoring / alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and CloudWatch.
  • Ensure high uptime and optimize resources for better performance.
  • Track system and application health to proactively resolve issues.

    • Collaboration & Teamwork

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams on DevOps and security best practices.
  • Contribute to project planning and agile workflows (Jira, Confluence).
  • Share knowledge and support teammates in adopting DevOps culture.

    • Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in DevOps or DevSecOps roles.
  • Hands-on expertise with AWS (EC2, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, CodePipeline) and Azure (VMs, AKS, Logic Apps, Azure DevOps) .
  • Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm .
  • Proficiency with IaC tools : Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, ARM templates .
  • Experience with CI / CD : Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, ArgoCD .
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools : Prometheus, Grafana, ELK / EFK, NewRelic .
  • Scripting in Python, Bash, PowerShell .
  • Awareness of Zero Trust, SSO integration, and compliance frameworks .
