Job Description – Career Counsellor / Sourcing Specialist

Key Responsibilities
Engage with potential IT candidates and guide them toward suitable career opportunities with our US-based clients.
Learn to source profiles using top job boards such as Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, and internal databases.
Review resumes, conduct initial discussions, and understand candidates’ skills, experience, and job preferences.
Work closely with senior counsellors and account managers to support ongoing client needs.
Coordinate interviews, follow-ups, and feedback between candidates and internal stakeholders.
Maintain organized and updated candidate information in our internal systems.
Get trained on key US hiring concepts (W2, C2C, 1099, work authorizations, etc.) and apply them in daily tasks.
Meet daily / weekly targets related to sourcing and candidate engagement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
MBA HR / Bachelor's or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
Strong communication skills—both verbal and written.
Good understanding of sourcing or a passion to learn recruitment tools and techniques.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
Willingness to work in US shifts (CST).
Prior exposure to US staffing or recruitment (up to 1 year) is an added advantage, but not mandatory.
