Responsible for developing, coaching and growing multiple teams that are embedded in the global engineering teams of various Barry-Wehmiller equipment divisions. As such must be able to understand the requirements, priorities and working norms of multiple businesses and to recruit, direct and support the growth of the offshore team members enabling these businesses’ success. Role requires exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, technical knowledge and the ability to navigate multiple stakeholders and consistently deliver results.
Experience in industrial equipment and machinery such as paper, converting, packaging, textile, and discrete product machinery required

Required Qualifications
Technical Expertise
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or mechatronics engineering; Master's degree preferred
15+ years of engineering experience with at least 5 years in leadership roles
Strong understanding of engineering principles and modern development methodologies
Experience with global, distributed team management in an offshore context

Working in a cross-functional team having hands-on working experience from concept to commissioning, following key engineering milestones is required. Machine building, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting experience will be an added advantage
Mandatory Skills – Engineering :
Adept in 3D CAD modeling and detailing with GD&T, Stack up analysis, MBD experience (advantage), Adherence to CAD standards (ISO, DIN, ANSI)
Good experience in design and development following
Design reviews, FMEA, design verification / validation using DFX
Finite Element Analysis (FEA) in SolidWorks Simulation / ANSYS Workbench
Engineering design calculations
Knowledge on standard raw materials, OEM parts selection
Familiar with Electrical / Controls / Pneumatics and Hydraulics basics
Experience in using VAVE for cost optimization (certified) will be an advantage
3D CAD software proficiency
