Project Manager – Data & AI

Location : Hyderabad (Onsite)

Work Arrangement : Onsite / Hybrid / Remote (as applicable)

Experience Level : 5+ years (with at least 3–4 years managing Data / AI projects)

Role Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager – Data & AI to lead the execution of data-driven and AI / ML initiatives across the organization. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, stakeholder management, and ensuring AI / ML solutions are implemented successfully to drive measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Project Management & Delivery
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Data & AI projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Drive adoption of Agile / DevOps methodologies for faster, iterative AI / ML project execution.
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists, AI engineers, and product managers to define requirements.
  • Act as a bridge between technical teams and business units, translating complex AI / ML concepts into business terms.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Data & AI Solution Delivery
  • Oversee the development, testing, deployment, and monitoring of AI / ML models and data pipelines.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and ethical AI guidelines.
  • Evaluate third-party AI tools, cloud solutions, and platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, etc.) for project suitability.
  • Risk & Quality Management
  • Identify risks early and develop mitigation plans to avoid project delays.
  • Ensure quality standards for data accuracy, AI model performance, and scalability are met.
  • Conduct project retrospectives and implement lessons learned to improve future delivery.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Lead cross-functional teams of data engineers, AI / ML engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide team members in best practices for data-driven project execution.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Education : Bachelor’s / Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, AI / ML, or related field.
  • Project Management : Proven experience managing large-scale Data & AI projects using Agile / Scrum methodologies.
  • Technical Understanding :
  • Knowledge of data engineering, data analytics, and machine learning workflows.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Databricks, Azure AI, AWS Sagemaker, GCP Vertex AI, Power BI, or Tableau .
  • Understanding of MLOps, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and Generative AI concepts.
  • Certifications (preferred) : PMP, PRINCE2, Agile / Scrum Master, or Cloud certifications (Azure / AWS / GCP).
  • Soft Skills : Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
