Our customer is looking for a seasoned NodeJS SDE-2 to design and scale robust backend systems that power high-performance, reliable, and scalable applications.

What you need :

5+ years of hands-on experience building scalable backend systems using

Node.js .,

JavaScript and TypeScript.

Strong understanding of

Express.js ,

Koa , or similar frameworks to create high-traffic, resilient applications.

Proven experience designing and deploying

microservices

in

AWS, Azure, or GCP

environments.

Working knowledge of

Docker ,

Kubernetes , and other container orchestration tools.

Familiarity with

REST

and

GraphQL

APIs, and exposure to

Apollo Federation

is an advantage.

Proficiency with monitoring and observability tools such as

New Relic ,

Datadog , or

Splunk .

Passion for writing

clean, modular, and maintainable code , with exposure to

Agile

and

DevOps

practices.

What you would do here :

Design, build, and maintain

robust backend services

using Node.js, TypeScript, and cloud-native technologies.

Collaborate closely with

product managers and cross-functional teams

to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Apply

TDD / BDD

principles to deliver high-quality, test-driven features and maintain code reliability.

Automate and optimise

workflows, ensuring systems are secure, observable, and scalable.

Diagnose and resolve production issues, performing

root cause analysis

and continuous improvement.

Contribute to

code reviews, refactoring, and knowledge sharing

within the engineering community.

Mentor junior engineers and drive

best practices

across development, testing, and deployment.
