Role Overview
The
Senior HR Leader – People & Culture / Talent Management
will manage both strategic and operational aspects of HR across the organization. This role will oversee people operations for ELIMA’s recycling facility as well as the white-collar team that manages the corporate, administrative, and technical functions.
The person will play a key role in building ELIMA’s internal culture, aligning workforce practices with business goals, and ensuring full compliance with labour and industrial laws.
Key Responsibilities
Workforce Management & Compliance
Manage HR operations for both blue-collar and white-collar employees across the plant and office.
Ensure compliance with Industrial and Labour Laws -Factories Act, Shops & Establishment, Contract Labour Act, etc.
Maintain accurate HR and payroll records, ensuring statutory compliance (PF, ESI, gratuity, bonus, etc.).
Talent Acquisition & Development
Lead recruitment for facility and office teams, identifying and attracting the right talent across all levels.
Build a structured onboarding and orientation framework that fosters alignment and readiness.
Develop learning and leadership programs for continuous skill improvement and role progression.
Culture, Engagement & Team Building
Build and reinforce a people-first culture rooted in responsibility, collaboration, and ownership.
Design and drive employee engagement and team-building initiatives across departments and shifts.
Set the tone for communication, discipline, and positive work relationships across the organization.
Policy, Systems & Governance
Create and update HR policies, systems, and procedures in alignment with legal and business requirements.
Implement HRMS systems and dashboards for better visibility and control.
Work closely with leadership to ensure workforce planning, productivity, and policy consistency across sites.
Strategic & Expansion Support
Support leadership in manpower planning for new projects and upcoming facilities across India.
Contribute to succession planning, performance management, and organizational design initiatives.
Act as the bridge between management and employees, maintaining balance between people care and performance.
Preferred Profile
MBA / PGDM in HR, Industrial Relations, or Organizational Development.
10–15 years of progressive HR experience, ideally across manufacturing, recycling, or similar sectors.
Proven experience managing both plant-level (blue-collar) and corporate (white-collar) teams.
Strong understanding of HR operations, labour laws, compliance, and employee relations.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Background in setting up HR systems or scaling people processes from ground up.
Ability to build culture while ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.
