Librarian Teacher Assistant BIS 25-26

Job Description :

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate librarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing excellent library services fostering a love of reading and learning and engaging with the community. Responsibilities :

• Assist patrons in locating library materials both in print and electronic formats
• Provide reference and research assistance to patrons including helping with database searches and information inquiries
• Develop and maintain library collections including selecting materials for purchase and managing acquisitions
• Plan and implement library programs and events for all ages such as storytime sessions book clubs and workshops
• Collaborate with community organizations and schools to promote literacy and library services
• Assist with library technology including troubleshooting issues with computers printers and other equipment
• Participate in library outreach efforts including visiting schools senior centers and other community locations
• Perform other duties as assigned by library management

Requirements

Qualifications :

Required Skills :

Bachelors degree in Education or a related field. Teaching certification. Proven experience as a Primary Social science Teacher (1 - 3) years Excellent Communication Skills. Strong passion for education and fostering a love for Social Science in young learners Should have good knowledge of subject with good experience. Students handling skills in the classroom.
