Position : Design Engineer Electrical (Substation)L2-L3 / Asst. Manager- Manager
Key Responsibilities &Accountabilities
- Sound Design knowledge of AIS / GIS substation up to 400kV and Transmission line up to 400kV will be an added advantage.
- Various Bus schemes for Substation / Switchyard Design up to 400kV
- Layouts Engineering– Equipment Plan and section drawings, AIS / GIS building & Control building Layouts, Earthing, Lightning Protection, Lighting, Cable Trays, Cable Trenches, Transformer Area, etc.
- Single Line diagram – Key SLD, Metering and Protection SLD, Auxiliary AC / DC system SLD.
- Design calculations – Rigid Bus / Flexible Conductor Short circuit & Ampacity, Shielding / Lightning Protection, Earthing, Lighting, Bus Post sizing, HT / LT cable sizing, Battery and battery charger sizing, Auxiliary transformer sizing, LA sizing, CT / VT sizing, Relay settings, etc.
- Preparation of Technical specification / Tender documents up to 400kV.
- Preparation of Control, Protection and SCADA interface drawings and capable to review the Protection Schemes.
- Preparation of IO list, ICS and Cable Schedule.
- Preparing Block Logic Diagram.
- Carrying out Vendor drawing review of EHV Equipment's and Control & Protection System.
- Knowhow of Local Standards and Codes & applicability of same in design & engineering.
- Actively involved in interdisciplinary coordination for finalization of various Engineering Interfaces and Site Queries for completion of various activities.
- Conduct Technical discussion with contractors, vendors / suppliers and conduct site visits to understand and provide solutions for design related issues.
- Preparation of MDL & MIS reports
- Understanding of Civil requirement & interface with Civil design team to provide final design documents for construction.
- Excellent in co-ordination with various stakeholders including site.
Excellent knowledge of CEA regulations & compliance there-off

Electrical Design of up to 400 KV SS Design for AIS & GIS SSExcellent Knowledge on Software for Load Flow / Short Ckt studies, Earthing Design, Lightening Protection,Excellent Knowledge of International & Indian Standards for electrical DesignEducation :
Bachelor's / Master's degree in electrical engineering,At least 6-8 years of relevant work experience,Renewable sector background with evacuation arrangement planned & executed upto 400 KV for more than 1 GWp Solar / Wind project experience would be added advantage.Skills Required
