Job Title : Networking Engineer – WLAN, WAN, LAN, and Cloud Networking (AWS / GCP / OCI)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Networking Engineer with expertise in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-grade wireless (WLAN), local area (LAN), wide area (WAN), and cloud-based networking solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting scalable, secure, and high-performance network infrastructures across on-premises and cloud environments, with a strong focus on integration with AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This role requires a deep understanding of modern networking technologies, automation, and cloud networking services to support evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust WLAN (Wireless LAN), LAN, and WAN architectures for enterprise environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
  • Develop and manage cloud-native networking solutions on AWS, GCP, or OCI, including Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), subnets, route tables, security groups, firewalls, and transit gateways.
  • Configure and optimize wireless networks using enterprise-grade controllers (e.g., Cisco Wireless LAN Controller, Aruba, Juniper Mist) and access points to support seamless mobility and secure connectivity.
  • Implement and manage SD-WAN solutions to improve WAN performance, reduce latency, and ensure cost-effective connectivity across multiple sites and cloud services.
  • Collaborate with security, systems, and cloud engineering teams to integrate network solutions with identity management, zero-trust frameworks, and threat detection systems.
  • Automate network provisioning and configuration using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Python, or vendor-specific APIs to ensure consistency and reduce manual errors.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network issues across hybrid environments, using tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark, or cloud-native monitoring (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, GCP Operations Suite).
  • Develop comprehensive network documentation, including topology diagrams, IP addressing schemes, configuration standards, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Stay current with emerging networking trends, including SASE, intent-based networking, network observability, and cloud-native networking services.
  • Support network migration projects from legacy infrastructure to modern cloud and hybrid architectures.
  • Participate in capacity planning, performance tuning, and scalability assessments to align network infrastructure with business growth.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering, with proven expertise in WLAN, LAN, and WAN design and implementation.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud networking platforms : AWS (VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, Route 53), GCP (VPC, Cloud Interconnect, Cloud Router), or OCI (Virtual Cloud Network, FastConnect, Load Balancer).
  • Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), switching technologies (VLANs, STP, EtherChannel), and wireless standards (802.11a / b / g / n / ac / ax).
  • Experience with SD-WAN solutions (e.g., Cisco SD-WAN, VMware Velocloud, Fortinet, Palo Alto Prisma Access).
  • Proficiency in network security concepts : firewalls, intrusion detection / prevention systems (IDS / IPS), segmentation, and secure remote access (e.g., VPN, Zero Trust Network Access).
  • Experience with network automation tools : Terraform, Ansible, Python scripting, or vendor-specific APIs.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring and analytics tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Splunk, Wireshark).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex network performance and connectivity issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

    • Nice to Have :

  • Certifications such as CCNP Enterprise, AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty, Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Networking Associate.
  • Experience with network virtualization (e.g., VXLAN, NVGRE) and overlay networks.
  • Exposure to network function virtualization (NFV) and cloud-native network services.
  • Understanding of DevOps and CI / CD practices in network provisioning.
