Project Overview

This project supports the development of AI systems that can understand and process e-commerce interactions more accurately. The goal is to build a high-quality dataset that helps models reason through customer inquiries, product comparisons, and content validation.

Annotators will work on text-based tasks involving customer conversations, intent classification, product matching, and content quality checks across a wide range of categories such as electronics, apparel, and home goods.

This is fundamentally a writing and reasoning role. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys crafting and refining language, applying structured logic, and thinking critically about meaning and intent. You need strong writing skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to follow detailed linguistic and procedural guidelines.

Role Summary

Annotators in this project focus on three main areas :

Content Writing & Refinement

Refine AI-generated e-commerce content to sound natural, authentic, and aligned with real customer interaction tone and clarity.

Metadata Verification

Verify that metadata, categories, and language accurately match the content and align with en_US cultural and linguistic standards.

Creation of Reasoning Steps

Create from-scratch, 3–7-step reasoning chains from customer–agent interactions that lead to the correct ground-truth decision, grounded in user intent, context, and domain logic.

Responsibilities

Validate the accuracy, tone, and reasoning of AI-generated text.

Edit and refine text to ensure coherence, naturalness, and logical flow.

Generate structured reasoning chains that clearly justify ground-truth decisions.

Apply logic and linguistic consistency to complex customer-agent scenarios.

Follow project guidelines to maintain consistency and quality standards.

Meet weekly productivity and quality benchmarks.

Qualifications

Education : Bachelor’s degree

Language Skills : Fluency in English

Writing & Editing : Excellent command of written English; experience refining text for clarity, tone, and precision.

Prompt Writing Experience : Familiarity with composing or refining AI prompts, evaluating AI outputs, or improving model responses.

Reasoning & Logic : Strong analytical and deductive thinking; able to construct multi-step reasoning that explains how conclusions are reached.

E-Commerce Familiarity : Understanding of online shopping terminology and customer interaction types.

Reliability : Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a remote setup.

Technical Comfort : Able to work efficiently within browser-based tools and annotation platforms.
