Mainframe Developer

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer to join our team to provide both development and production support for mission-critical mainframe applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2 VSAM, and CICS, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced :

Develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2 VSAM, and CICS.
Provide L2 / L3 production support, including root cause analysis and permanent fixes.
Analyze and resolve batch job failures and performance issues.
Work closely with business analysts, QA teams, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
Participate in incident, change, and problem management processes as per ITIL standards.
Perform impact analysis, code walkthroughs, and peer reviews.
Monitor system performance and optimize programs and JCL to improve efficiency.
Prepare and maintain technical :

Required Skills and Experience :

COBOL, JCL, DB2 VSAM, and CICS are Mandatory.

Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Experience in supporting large-scale enterprise systems.

Familiarity with tools like File-AID, Endevor / Changeman, XPEDITER, or similar.

Experience in production support (incident management, job monitoring, etc.).

Knowledge of Agile and / or ITIL processes is a plus.
