Job Description : Senior Media Associate + Content Creator

Location : Bangalore ; for projects across India

Please Note : This position is being offered on a short-term contractual basis for a duration of 6 months. And Telugu language is a must have requirement for this role.

About this Role :

As a Senior Media Associate + Content Creator for the Andhra team, you will be at the forefront of shaping narratives and delivering impactful communication. Your role will combine sharp media monitoring with creative content development — tracking state-wide media trends, analyzing narrative shifts, and crafting compelling reports. Alongside this, you’ll produce high-quality written content for Creatives, Reels, ensuring consistency and clarity. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and client stakeholders, ensuring that real-time media intelligence and strong storytelling directly inform on-ground strategy and outreach.

What Would This Role Entail?

Media Monitoring & Analysis : Track state-wide media coverage, monitor narrative shifts, and identify emerging trends relevant to campaigns.
Strategic Reporting : Prepare timely media intelligence reports and actionable insights to support decision-making and campaign strategy.
Content Development : Write and edit social media content, campaign material, and speeches aligned with the communication strategy.
Narrative Building : Craft compelling stories that strengthen the campaign’s message and resonate with diverse audiences.
Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure media insights and content align with on-ground activities.
Real-time Support : Provide quick turnarounds on content and media analysis to respond to fast-moving developments.

Necessary Skills :

Graduate in any discipline; background in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or Political Science preferred.

Proficiency in Telugu Language (read, write, speak) is a must.

Writing content in Telugu for Creatives and Reels is a must.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to interpret media content and summarize insights effectively.

Awareness of Andhra’s political, social, and cultural ecosystem.

Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with social media platforms and digital news tools.

Prior exposure to political consulting or electoral campaigns.

Skills in media sentiment analysis or narrative tracking tools.
