Job Summary

We are looking for a solar energy professional with 4+ years of experience, preferably in consulting, skilled in energy yield estimation, design engineering, and performance analysis of solar PV plants. The role involves energy yield estimation using PVSyst, ensuring technical accuracy, and collaborating with stakeholders for high-quality project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

Consulting Capability

• . Expert in using energy production simulation tools PVsyst.
• . Review of meteorological resource historical data evaluation and execute solar resource assessment.
• . Review operating data from operating solar PV power plants. Analysis of plant breakdown history to understand the recurring losses and RCA behind it.
• . To prepare and maintain data in insightful formats to be used by project teams.
• . Review electrical and structural documents to ensure losses consideration as per industry standard and best practices.
• . Stay updated with the latest Solar PV technologies, regulation, and industry trends.
• . Perform solar PV plant design and optimization, considering site constraint, module selection, shading analysis.
• . Demonstrate expertise in creating detailed shading scenes and comprehensive understanding of all Pvsyst features related to shade scene object is essential.
• . Conduct plant performance analysis and translate into written reports.
• . Identify and analyze all Solar PV plant losses.
• . Support technical due diligence and transaction projects.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree + 2-4 years experience OR Master's degree. 2-4+ years experience in a business / consulting environment. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any / all of the following : criminal / civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
