This position is based in Bengaluru.

Best Buy™ India operates under a hybrid work model (in office / remote) with an expectation for employees to be in the office three days a week – Generally, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

This leadership role offers the opportunity to work with global stakeholders and cutting-edge technologies, including public cloud platforms, omnichannel systems, and AI-driven engagement tools. You’ll lead the development of high-impact software platforms while championing engineering best practices and fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities :

Build and lead multiple engineering teams and deliver large scale software products in partnership with key stakeholders with company-wide impacts and outcomes

Connect the larger organization strategic goals directly to their team's goals and can effectively communicate that to their teams

Guide production support for complex and high-priority issues

Provide strategic direction aligned with broader business goals

Build a high-performing organization by mentoring senior managers and engineering leaders

Drive continuous improvement in software development lifecycle (SDLC) quality, tools, and innovation

Partner with global executive stakeholders on long-term initiatives and priorities

Architect and modernize solutions with a customer-first mindset

Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Champion a test / learn / iterate culture focused on progress and outcomes

What You Bring :

18+ years of experience in technology, including :

8+ years of experience managing engineering leaders

7+ years of experience with full stack modern web frameworks (React, Node, Java or, Python or Node or GoLang)

7+ years building SaaS applications at enterprise scale

7+ years of experience in cloud-native architecture (AWS or GCP preferred)

3+ years of experience in omnichannel technology (e.g., contact center platforms, digital communication tools)

Experience with Google Customer Engagement Suite (e.g., DialogFlow, Agent Assist)

Exposure to LLMs, Gen AI technologies, and responsible AI practices
