Job description

Experience : 2-3 years

Location : Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram (Work from Office- Monday to Friday)

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, automate, and manage AWS-based infrastructure using Terraform and GitOps practices (ArgoCD).
  • Operate and enhance Kubernetes (EKS) clusters hosting 70+ microservices.
  • Manage Istio service mesh for secure service discovery, routing, and zero-trust enforcement.
  • Build and maintain CI / CD pipelines integrating code quality, SAST / DAST scans, and deployment automation.
  • Integrate and manage AWS managed services (RDS / PostgreSQL, S3, Lambda, CloudFront, Global Accelerator, API Gateway).
  • Implement observability using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenSearch, and drive reliability improvements.
  • Automate security hardening, key management (HashiCorp Vault, KMS), and compliance checks.
  • Support BCP and DR processes — backups, cross-region recovery, and high-availability validation.
  • Work with application teams on performance testing, penetration testing, and secure deployment practices.
  • Continuously improve deployment velocity, security posture, and platform resilience.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2–3 years of experience in DevOps / Platform Engineering / DevSecOps roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, microservice architectures, and service discovery.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform, AWS EKS, and CI / CD tooling.
  • Good coding and scripting skills in Python (Go or Shell a plus).
  • Proficient with AWS core and serverless services (Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch).
  • Working knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and query optimization.
  • Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and logging systems.
  • Understanding of cloud security, IAM best practices, and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
  • Strong troubleshooting, automation, and collaboration skills. Good-to-Have Skills
  • Experience with Istio, Helm, or Argo Workflows.
  • Exposure to security automation, vulnerability management, or DevSecOps tools.
  • Knowledge of container security scanners and policy as code (OPA, Kyverno).
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools and SRE metrics (SLI / SLO / SLA).
