Role Description
- This is a full-time on-site role located in Nashik for a Civil Engineer specializing in Watershed and Irrigation Projects. The Civil Engineer will be responsible
- Plan, design and execute watershed development structures such as loose boulder structures, gabion structures, check dams, contour trenches, farm ponds, and recharge pits. Utilisation of toposheets and GIS for planning, supplemented with ground truthing
- Plan, design and implement groundwater recharge interventions
- Plan, design and implement irrigation systems infrastructure to ensure water availability for saplings being planted as required
- Plan and implement community water filters where required
- Conduct site assessments, surveys, and feasibility studies in hilly regions.
- Prepare technical drawings, BOQs, and cost estimates for civil works, watershed structures and irrigation.
- Coordinate with field teams, contractors, and community members for effective project implementation.
- Monitor costs against budget and provide updates weekly expenses
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
