Job Description -

Overview - The Buyer and Pricing Specialist plays a dual role in managing procurement activities and developing pricing strategies to optimize profitability and competitiveness. This position requires strong analytical skills, market awareness, and negotiation capabilities to ensure cost-effective purchasing and strategic pricing decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement (Buyer Duties)

Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and delivery speed.

Monitor inventory levels and place orders to maintain optimal stock.

Analyze purchasing trends and forecast future needs.

Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery.

Pricing Strategy

Develop and implement pricing models based on market trends, competitor analysis, and cost structures.

Monitor product performance and adjust pricing to maximize margins and sales.

Conduct regular pricing audits and recommend adjustments.

Analyze customer behavior and feedback to refine pricing tactics.

Maintain pricing databases and ensure accuracy across platforms.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree , Supply Chain Management, Purchasing and Pricing

2-8 years of experience in procurement, pricing analysis, or related roles.

Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Oracle ERP systems, pricing & purchasing ).

Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.

Performance Metrics

Accuracy and timeliness of pricing updates.

Inventory turnover and stock availability.

Supplier performance and relationship quality.

Margin improvement and revenue impact from pricing decisions.
