Profile Summary :

A skilled OpenText SMAX Implementor with extensive experience in deploying and optimizing IT service and Asset management solutions. Proficient in leveraging OpenText SMAX capabilities to enhance operational efficiency and improve service delivery. Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of successful project implementations, stakeholder engagement, and user training.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the end-to-end implementation of OpenText SMAX and Connect-IT, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and configure the platform for optimal performance.
Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Conduct system testing, validation, and user acceptance testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Provide training and support to end-users, fostering a smooth transition to the new system.
Monitor system performance and user feedback, implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Stay updated on industry trends and OpenText product enhancements to provide innovative solutions.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Proven experience in implementing OpenText SMAX, Asset and similar ITSM tools (BMC is a plus).

Strong understanding of ITIL processes and service and asset management best practices.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Certifications :

OpenText Certified Professional (if applicable)

ITIL Foundation Certification (preferred)

Technical Skills :

Proficiency in OpenText SMAX configuration, customization, and migration.

Experience with REST APIs and integration with other systems.

Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools within OpenText SMAX.

Understanding of database management and scripting languages.
