Overview

As a Sitecore Engineer at Capgemini, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing scalable solutions on Sitecore CMS. You’ll collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration and empower content managers with best practices for managing digital experiences. This role also offers opportunities to mentor peers, contribute to community knowledge sharing, and support the broader LeasePlan Digital ecosystem.

️ Responsibilities

Develop Sitecore components and solutions using Sitecore 10.x.x, JSS, Docker, and Kubernetes on AWS.
Guide frontend developers on Sitecore integration best practices.
Consult content managers on optimal Sitecore usage and content workflows.
Mentor and coach fellow Sitecore developers through pair programming and technical leadership.
Present at internal LeasePlan developer meetups to share insights and innovations.
Advocate for development best practices across teams.
Support recruitment efforts by evaluating and attracting top talent.
Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver impactful digital solutions globally.
Monitor and maintain production workloads using Datadog.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong proficiency in C# .NET.

Deep understanding of Sitecore core concepts and extensibility points.

Experience building RESTful APIs.

Familiarity with Helix architecture.

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Knowledge of CI / CD pipelines, version control, and QA processes.

Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Agile mindset with experience in Scrum or similar methodologies.

Confidence to challenge the status quo and embrace pragmatic compromises.

Nice to Have

Experience with Sitecore JSS.

Proficiency with Docker.

Frontend development experience, especially with React.
