Job description

Key Responsibilities

Design & Development

  • Design and develop scalable microservices for a cloud-native SaaS platform
  • Build and maintain robust and secure RESTful APIs
  • Optimize services for performance, observability, and security in a multi-tenant architecture

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead architectural discussions and decisions
  • Conduct regular code reviews and mentor junior developers
  • Collaborate closely with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams to deliver high-quality features

    • DevOps & Best Practices

  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, security practices, and DevSecOps principles
  • Drive CI / CD pipeline improvements and containerization best practices
  • Maintain system reliability and performance through monitoring and optimization

    • Must-Have Skills

  • Node.js (ES6+), Express.js
  • Microservices, SaaS architecture
  • RESTful API design and security
  • Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS
  • SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
  • Caching strategies, query optimization
  • Cloud platforms : AWS, Azure, or GCP (S3, Pub / Sub, etc.)
  • CI / CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Git
  • Strong knowledge of design patterns, clean code practices, and system scalability
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the insurance or financial domain
  • Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack
  • Experience implementing API Gateways and access control models (RBAC / ABAC)

    • Skills Required

    Node.js, Express.Js, Saas, Kafka, Sql
