Hiring : Sales Consultant – Healthcare Division

Location : Kolkata

Role Type : Consulting / Project-Based

We are looking for an experienced Sales Consultant to partner with the Healthcare Division's Sales Leadership Team. The role will focus on strengthening sales systems, improving commercial efficiency, and driving sustainable secondary sales growth across channels.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Diagnosis & Assessment

  • Analyze current sales structure, processes, and channel performance.
  • Assess distributor ROI, trade spends, margins, and cost-to-serve.
  • Review sales-force deployment, beat planning, coverage models, and productivity metrics.
  • Benchmark with industry best practices in FMCG / OTC.

2. Route-to-Market (RTM) Optimization

  • Recommend an improved GT / MT / Alternate channel RTM model.
  • Identify gaps in sales pipeline efficiency and distribution infrastructure.
  • Suggest restructuring of territories, resources, or coverage models where required.
  • 3. Cost Rationalization & Productivity Improvement

  • Design strategies to optimize channel costs and increase field-force effectiveness.
  • Recommend improvements in distributor operations and supply-chain alignment.
  • Streamline low-ROI activities and optimize trade investments.
  • 4. Secondary Sales Acceleration

  • Build a roadmap for sustainable secondary sales growth across markets.
  • Provide interventions on visibility, activation, and brand prioritization.
  • Assess growth levers for key OTC brands.
  • 5. Implementation & Governance

  • Prepare a 100-day roadmap and long-term execution plan.
  • Define KPIs, dashboards, and governance mechanisms.
  • Work with leadership teams to enable alignment and execution discipline.
  • Ideal Profile :

  • 10–15 years of experience in FMCG / Consumer Healthcare / OTC Sales
  • Strong understanding of GT distribution, field-force management, RTM design, and sales operations
  • Experience in cost optimisation, channel productivity, and sales transformation
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Prior consulting experience is an advantage (not mandatory)
  • This is a high-impact role for someone who can blend strategic thinking with operational depth and help unlock the next phase of growth for the Healthcare Division.
