The role of Part-Time Marketing Coordinator involves managing and growing the creative brand across music, publishing, and digital platforms. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys diverse, hands-on marketing work and wants to contribute meaningfully to independent creative projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute digital marketing and promotional initiatives across music and publishing projects
- Manage and schedule creative content for social media, website, and newsletters
- Coordinate with designers, editors, and collaborators for ongoing creative work
- Manage ad campaigns, optimize performance, and track analytics
- Research and submit to relevant playlists, platforms, media outlets, and promotional channels
- Support brand communication through email marketing, press outreach, and storytelling
- Handle distribution, publishing, and listings for music and books
- Identify and apply for awards, contests, collaborations, and partnership opportunities
- Assist with website updates, SEO / AEO optimization, and basic maintenance
- Manage basic video editing or oversee production of visual content
- Develop strategies for audience growth and fan engagement
- Maintain organized marketing databases, content calendars, and reports
- Explore sync, licensing, and media placement opportunities
- Provide creative input and propose new ideas for brand expansion and visibility
- Support in branding-related initiatives (logo, visual identity, design assets)
Requirements and Skills
