We are looking for a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with 47 years of hands-on experience in test automation, framework development, and API testing . The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in Java, solid experience with Selenium, Cypress, REST Assured, and a good understanding of CI / CD practices and tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions. Experience in cloud-based testing environments (AWS, Docker) will be an added advantage.

Job Title : Automation Engineer / SDET

Experience : 4 to 7 Years

Location : Bengaluru or Bangalore (5 Days Work from Office)

Notice Period : Immediate joiners

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, JUnit / TestNG, and REST Assured.
Create and execute automated test cases for web, mobile, and API applications .
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Integrate automated test suites into CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
Perform API testing using REST Assured and Postman to validate service integrations.
Work with Docker and AWS environments for test execution and validation.
Analyze test failures, debug issues, and work with developers to resolve problems quickly.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) and

contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Required Skills & Experience :

4 - 7 years of experience in Automation Testing / SDET role .

Strong programming knowledge in Java and Hands-on experience in automation tools : Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, Appium .

Expertise in API testing tools like REST Assured and Postman.

Solid understanding of test frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber.

Experience with automation design patterns like Page Object Model (POM) and Service Object Proficient in using CI / CD tools : Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI.

Familiarity with build tools : Maven, Gradle.

Good working knowledge of Git, Bitbucket, or similar version control systems.

Experience in database testing using SQL and tools like MySQL.

Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS and containerization using Docker.

Basic understanding of performance testing using JMeter is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience in banking, finance, or enterprise applications is desirable.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a sprint-based environment.

Strong analytical, debugging , and communication skills .

Educational Qualifications :

Master or Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
