Title : Backend Developer – API & Orchestration (Django / PostgreSQL / Redis ) (2-6 years experience)

The Role

We are looking for a skilled backend developer to design, develop, and maintain our API and orchestration services using Django, PostgreSQL, and Redis. You will be responsible for building REST APIs, implementing background job orchestration, and ensuring smooth communication between system components and third-party API integrations.

What You’ll Do

• Design and develop REST APIs using Django / Django REST Framework.
• Create and maintain PostgreSQL schemas, migrations, and queries with a focus on performance.
• Manage background jobs and queues using Celery + Redis.
• Integrate with third-party APIs for data retrieval and processing.
• Implement caching and optimization strategies for fast response times.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to define API contracts.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality.
• Work with DevOps to deploy, monitor, and optimize backend services.
