In this role, you’ll ensure smooth and scalable deployment of real-time systems like matchmaking, player data, analytics, and live events. You’ll design cloud infrastructure that can survive traffic spikes
Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and maintain highly available infrastructure using AWS (EKS, EC2, CloudFront, RDS, S3, ALB / NLB).
- Build and optimize CI / CD pipelines for client builds and backend services (Node.Js, .NET, or Go).
- Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters via Amazon EKS for microservice orchestration and autoscaling.
- Configure and manage AWS FlexMatch for multiplayer matchmaking and session management.
- Leverage Amazon CloudFront for CDN acceleration of static assets and live event updates.
- Configure and maintain Load Balancers (ALB / NLB) for secure, distributed backend traffic.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and scaling using Terraform / CloudFormation / Ansible.
- Develop robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch
- Collaborate with backend, gameplay, and Live Ops teams to ensure zero-downtime deployments.
- Optimize cost, reliability, and performance of live game systems during events and peak activity windows.
- Ensure security compliance for secrets, player data, and access credentials.
Requirements
DevOps / Site Reliability Engineering (preferably in gaming or large-scale SaaS).Strong expertise with AWS services — especially EKS, CloudFront, FlexMatch, ALB / NLB, and CloudFormation.Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.CI / CD experience using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.Understanding of scalable multiplayer backend systems (matchmaking, leaderboards, analytics, economy).Familiarity with load balancing, caching, CDN optimization, and server scaling best practices.Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose issues across distributed systems.Why Join Us
