Job Summary :
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer / Team Lead with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow platform development and administration. The ideal candidate should also have the ability to lead a small operations team to support a UK-based client. This role requires working from the Bangalore office during afternoon shifts and flexibility to extend hours as per customer needs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, configure, and administer solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
- Perform day-to-day administration, maintenance, and operational support of ServiceNow modules.
- Develop and deploy enhancements, customizations, and integrations.
- Manage and resolve ServiceNow incidents, requests, and problem tickets in alignment with SLAs.
- Support and enhance the following ServiceNow modules :
- ITSM : Incident, Problem, Change, Request Management
- SPM : Strategic Portfolio Management / Project Portfolio Management
- ITAM : Software, Hardware, and Application Lifecycle Management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Participate in unit testing, UAT, and production deployments.
- Provide timely and effective support during and beyond business hours as needed.
- Mentor and guide team members, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
5+ years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform.Strong expertise in ServiceNow ITSM, SPM, and ITAM (SAM / HAM / ALM) modules.Experience with JavaScript, UI Policies, Business Rules, Workflows, and Flow Designer.Proven experience in ServiceNow upgrades, release management, and system administration.Good understanding of integrations using REST / SOAP APIs.Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Proven ability to lead and manage a team in an operational support environment.Must be based in Bangalore and willing to work from the office.Flexibility to work UK shifts.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Preferred Skills :
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Implementation Specialist certifications.Exposure to ITOM, HRSD, or CSM modules.Knowledge of Agile methodology and ITIL framework.
