Migration Consultant – Windchill to 3DEXPERIENCE

We are looking for a highly skilled Migration Consultant with hands-on experience in Windchill to 3DEXPERIENCE data migration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing data models, developing migration scripts, validating data integrity, and ensuring a smooth transition between platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

Analyze and map Windchill data models to 3DEXPERIENCE structures.

Develop and maintain migration scripts or configure ETL tools for data transformation.

Conduct dry runs and mock migrations to ensure readiness.

Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

Monitor migration logs to identify and resolve errors or exceptions.

Implement rollback and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity.

Collaborate with QA teams to define and execute validation checkpoints.

Document the entire migration process, including scripts, configurations, and test results.

Technical Skills Required :

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or equivalent.

Experience with ETL tools or custom migration frameworks.

In-depth knowledge of Windchill and 3DEXPERIENCE data models and architecture.

Familiarity with APIs like Windchill REST Services and 3DEXPERIENCE Web Services.

Strong skills in XML / JSON data handling and transformation.

Expertise in error handling, logging, and rollback strategies.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience in PLM system migrations or enterprise data transformation projects.

Knowledge of PLM business processes and data governance.

Certification in Dassault Systèmes or PTC Windchill platforms.
