Role Overview
We are looking for a strategic and data-driven E-Commerce Planning Head to lead TIGC's end-to-end e-commerce planning, forecasting, and performance management function. This role requires deep expertise in demand planning, marketplace operations, and P&L ownership to ensure growth, profitability, and seamless execution across channels. The E-Commerce Planning Head will serve as the central driver for aligning business targets with operational execution—bridging demand forecasts, supply chain flows, marketing initiatives, and marketplace dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business & Demand Planning
- Build and own the annual, quarterly, and monthly e-commerce business plans.
- Create demand forecasts based on category trends, seasonality, sales velocity, and new product launches.
- Monitor performance vs plan, and drive proactive interventions to bridge gaps.
2. Inventory & Assortment Planning
Define inventory requirements across D2C and marketplace platforms.Align product assortment, size ratios, and depth of buy with demand projections.Partner with supply chain and design teams to ensure timely availability of planned styles.3. Sales & Revenue Forecasting
Own GMV, revenue, and contribution margin planning across D2C and marketplaces.Track daily / weekly sales against forecasts and adjust plans in real time.Ensure consistent sell-through rates and minimize stock-outs / overstocks.4. Marketplace & Channel Strategy
Align with key marketplace partners (Myntra, Flipkart, Amazon, etc.) on growth plans, budgets, and campaign calendars.Plan and track performance of sale events (EOSS, festive, Big Billion Days, etc.).Optimize channel mix for revenue and profitability.5. Promotional & Pricing Planning
Design and monitor pricing strategies, promotions, and discounts to balance growth with profitability.Track contribution margins and ensure promotional spends deliver ROI.Partner with marketing and marketplace teams to align campaigns with stock positions.6. Cross-Functional Alignment
Work closely with supply chain, logistics, design, marketing, and finance to ensure business targets are met.Serve as the central point of alignment between demand forecasts and supply readiness.Provide visibility of business performance to leadership through dashboards and reports.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Prior experience in e-commerce planning / category management is mandatory.Strong analytical skills with expertise in Excel, SQL, and BI dashboards.Deep understanding of D2C and marketplace dynamics.Proven ability to manage P&L and drive revenue growth at scale.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work under pressure, especially during high-demand sale periods.Why Join TIGC
